Chatham-Kent Home Builder Maple City Homes wins ENERQUALITY 2026 “Rising Star of the Year” Award

Maple City Homes Ltd. has been recognized with the “Rising Star
of the Year Award” at the 2026 ENERQUALITY Building Innovation Forum and Awards, held in Toronto on March 12.

Chatham-Kent, ON — Maple City Homes Ltd. has been recognized with the “Rising Star of the Year Award” at the 2026 ENERQUALITY Building Innovation Forum and Awards, held in Toronto on March 12. The award recognizes builders demonstrating leadership in
constructing high-performance, energy-efficient homes that meet rigorous ENERQUALITY certification standards.

Maple City Homes partner and co-owner Trevor Mailloux attended the event to accept the award on behalf of the company.
ENERQUALITY-certified homes must undergo independent performance verification, including blower door testing to measure air tightness and overall building efficiency. Testing for Maple City Homes is conducted by A&J Energy Consultants.

According to recent results, Maple City Homes currently holds the top blower door test score in Southern Ontario for the month of February, reflecting the company’s commitment to energy-efficient construction.
